The EU Mission on Climate Adaptation launched its Mission portal

The EU Mission on Climate Adaptation launched its Mission portal. The portal provides information about the mission, climate data and the latest developments regarding the mission's delivery, including news by and for regional and local authorities that are participating as Charter Signatories and research projects. The Community of Practice provides an exchange platform for Charter Signatories, Mission projects, the EC, and authorities participating in implementation processes.           

Open calls within the Mission on Climate Adaptation with deadline for submission on 30 September 2023:  

HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-01-01 Testing and demonstrating transformative solutions increasing climate resilience of the agriculture and/or forestry sector  

HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-01-02 Testing and demonstrating transformative solutions to protect critical infrastructure from climate change, mainstreaming nature based solutions    

HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-01-03 Testing and demonstrating transformative solutions to build resilience towards health risks caused by the effects of climate change  

HORIZON-MISS-2023-CLIMA-OCEAN-SOIL-01-01 Demonstrate at regional scale an integrated approach to increasing landscape water retention capacity at regional scale

Swiss entities are eligible to participate and, if successful, will be funded by the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation, SERI.
