Partner Search for Industrial and Research Partners - Call Horizon-JU-CBE-2023-R-03

A German SME together with several research partners from Austria, France, the UK and Germany is planning to submit a proposal under the call Horizon-JU-CBE-2023-R-03 - Robust and optimised industrial biotech and chemical/industrial biotech processes. The aim of the SynECO2 project is to produce high amounts of PHA based on two-component bacterial co-cultivation. They are looking for industrial and research partners to complete the consortium.

Missing partner activities to complete the consortium are:

- a laboratory for bio-analytics of small biochemical metabolites which is essential for testing the intended genetic improvements;

- a partner for performing, evaluating and calculating a life cycle assessment and the techno-economic analysis (LCA/ TEA) for the intended plant;

- a partner who is further processing the PHA for the development of new products and marketing it;

- an industrial plant as CO2 polluter interested in CO2 recycling and optionally certification of the expanded process;

- a dissemination partner.

Swiss entities can participate in the call as ”associated partners” and will receive funding from the Swiss government. The Swiss budget does not count toward the maximum proposal budget.
