Circular Bio-Based Europe Joint Undertaking Open Calls 2023

The Circular Bio-based Europe Joint Undertaking issued on the 26 April the call for proposals 2023 which will have a total budget of 215.5 Million Euros. The deadline for submission is 20 September 2023, 17:00 Brussels time. Further information on the calls can be found on the CBE JU webpage and on the Horizon Europe Funding and Tender Portal. Swiss entities are eligible to participate as Associated Partners and will receive funding, if successful, via the State Secretariat for Education, Research and Innovation SERI.

This CBE JU open call 2023 will fund projects that develop innovative and sustainable bio-based solutions, with a focus on feedstock, processing, products as well as cross-cutting aspects of communication and environmental sustainability.
