The European Commission is conducting a public consultation on the extension of the Euratom research and training programme for 2026-2027. The Euratom programme aims to maintain the highest nuclear safety standards and Europe’s competences in the nuclear domain.
This consultation is mainly addressed to researchers in the fields of nuclear research (fission and fusion), radiation protection and radioactive waste management, businesses, academia, non-governmental organisations, as well as public authorities and EU-wide ‘umbrella’ federations of these entities.
The feedback session is open until 24 May 2024.
