CBE JU favours an open innovation and welcomes all actors - from farmers to research centres and universities, from small businesses to large industries - to develop a competitive bioeconomy in Europe. 

Call 2024 includes topics on valorisation of sustainable oil crops; valorisation of sustainable natural fibre feedstock; microalgae as feedstock for innovative, added-value applications; bio-based construction & building materials; lignin-derived aromatics; bio-based adhesives and binders for circular products; conversion of biogenic gaseous carbon into bio-based chemicals, ingredients, materials; valorisation of polluted/contaminated wood; bio-based chemicals/materials replacing animal-derived ones; bio-based alternatives for crop protection; innovative bio-based food/feed ingredients, among others (18 topics in total).
