Workshop on Efficient, Lightweight, Sustainable Advanced Materials - 6 June 2024 in Brussels and Online
The European Commission is organising a workshop on the theme “Efficient, Lightweight, Sustainable Advanced Materials - Supporting EU industries to meet the Green Deal targets”.
The workshop will address the following topics:
- Recycling of lightweight composite materials;
- Development of new bio-composites for enhanced circularity;
- Joining of dissimilar materials through novel additive manufacturing techniques.
The event will be of interest to materials suppliers, manufacturers, end users and researchers in the marine, automotive, aeronautics, rail, wind energy and construction industries in Europe.
