EIT Food
The EIT Food is the largest food innovation community, connecting actors of the entire food chain, and fostering the ideas leading to an innovative and resilient food system that in turn creates a healthier society and planet. Its six focus innovation areas are delivered with a combination of industry, education and research partners by developing solutions in the most promising innovation areas: protein diversification, circular food systems, digital traceability, sustainable agriculture, sustainable aquaculture and targeted nutrition.
Key Information
EIT Food connects actors of food sector across Europe through three Co-location Centres (CLC). Switzerland belong to the West region, recently created by merging three areas into one to better serve partners from 10 countries. CLC contact person for Switzerland: Frank Horlbeck.
EIT Food community aims at responding to the biggest issues in the food system. Its three Missions are:
